Daylytix lets you fully brand every PDF and PowerPoint report with your own logo, agency name, and color scheme — so clients see your agency, not the tool behind it. This guide covers everything available under Settings → Brand.

⚠️
Plan requirement White-labeling requires a Pro or Agency plan. On the Starter plan, all reports display Daylytix default branding and the Daylytix logo.

Getting started

Open the Daylytix dashboard and navigate to Settings → Brand. This panel contains all branding controls for reports generated from your account.

Uploading your logo

Click Upload Logo and select your logo file. Requirements and recommendations:

PropertyValue
Accepted formatsPNG, SVG
Maximum file size2 MB
Recommended minimum width200 px
Best resultsHigh-resolution PNG with transparent background
💡
Tip: transparent background Use a PNG with a transparent background for best results across both light (PDF) and dark (PPTX) report themes. Logos with white backgrounds may show a white box on the PPTX cover slide.

Setting your brand color

Enter your primary brand color as a hex code in the Primary Color field (for example, #2563eb for blue or #dc2626 for red). This color is applied to:

  • Chart accent colors in the PDF report
  • Header bars and section dividers in the PDF
  • The color theme on the PPTX cover slide
  • KPI score boxes and callout highlights

The field validates the hex format and shows a live color swatch so you can confirm the value before saving.

Setting your agency name

The Agency Name field controls the text label that appears throughout reports. It accepts any plain-text string up to 80 characters. Avoid special characters that may not render correctly in PDF fonts.

Your agency name appears in these locations:

  • PDF report cover page header
  • PDF footer on every page — "Prepared by [Agency Name]"
  • PPTX cover slide subtitle
  • Automated email report subject line — "[Agency Name] — SEO Audit Report"

Live preview

The brand panel includes a live preview that renders a miniature version of the PDF header and footer as you make changes. Use this to confirm that your logo, agency name, and color look correct together before running your next audit.

The preview refreshes automatically when you change any field. No save is required to see the preview, but changes are only applied to future reports after you click Save Brand Settings.

Where branding appears

PDF report cover page

The cover page shows your logo in the top-left corner, your agency name in the header area, and uses your brand color for the score circle accent and the horizontal rule beneath the client name.

Every page of the PDF report includes a footer line: "Prepared by [Agency Name]" on the left, and the page number on the right. The footer uses a muted version of your brand color.

PPTX cover slide

The PowerPoint report's cover slide displays your logo and agency name prominently. The color theme for all 15 slides derives from your brand color, applied to title bars, chart accents, and data labels.

Email report subject line

When automated email reports are sent after a scheduled audit, the subject line reads: "[Agency Name] — SEO Audit: [domain]". This ensures your client sees your brand name in their inbox, not Daylytix.

Resetting to defaults

To remove custom branding, click Reset to Defaults at the bottom of the Brand panel. This action:

  • Removes your uploaded logo
  • Resets the primary color to Daylytix default blue (#3b82f6)
  • Clears the agency name field

Reset is immediate and affects all reports generated after the action. Previously generated reports are not modified.

Where settings are stored

All brand settings are saved to config.json on the server, in the agency_name, brand_color, and logo_path keys. If you are self-hosting Daylytix, you can inspect or edit this file directly — though using the dashboard UI is recommended.

🔒
Self-hosted deployments On self-hosted instances, the logo file is stored inside the static/uploads/ directory. Ensure this directory is writable by the web server process and is included in any backup routine.

Common questions

Can I use an SVG logo?

Yes. SVG logos are accepted and are ideal for print quality. However, note that complex SVGs with embedded fonts or scripts may not render correctly in the PDF engine (ReportLab). If your SVG logo has issues, use the PNG version instead.

Can I use different branding per client?

Currently, branding is account-wide — one logo and color for all reports. Per-client branding is on the roadmap for the Agency plan. As a workaround, you can run separate Daylytix accounts for clients who require distinctly different branding.

Does the agency name affect PPTX fonts?

No. The PPTX template uses standard system fonts (Calibri/Arial) for maximum compatibility. Your agency name is inserted as plain text in the designated placeholder; font styles follow the template default.
