Daylytix generates professional PDF and PPTX reports that you share directly with clients. Before you hand over your first report, take three minutes to configure your brand settings — so every document that leaves your account carries your logo, colors, and agency name instead of generic defaults.
Opening brand settings
Go to Settings in the left sidebar, then click the Brand tab at the top of the settings panel. You will see four configuration sections: Agency Name, Logo, Brand Color, and Report Preview.
Agency name
Your agency name appears in multiple locations across every generated report:
- PDF cover page — displayed prominently below or beside your logo
- PDF page footer — "Prepared by [Agency Name]" on every page
- PPTX cover slide — in the subtitle area of the opening slide
- Automated email reports — in the email body HTML and the attached PDF
To update it: type or paste your agency name into the Agency Name field and click Save. The change takes effect immediately for all future reports. Past reports already downloaded are not retroactively updated.
Uploading your logo
Click the Upload Logo button (or drag and drop a file onto the upload area). Daylytix accepts the following formats:
| Format | Recommended? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| PNG | Yes — best choice | Use a version with a transparent background. Works well on both light and dark PDF backgrounds. |
| SVG | Yes — for sharpest output | Vector format renders crisp at any size. Preferred for logos with fine detail or text. |
| JPG / JPEG | Acceptable | No transparency support — a white rectangle may appear around your logo on dark backgrounds. |
Maximum file size: 2 MB. If your logo file is larger, export a web-optimized version from your design tool. Most logos should be well under 500 KB.
Recommended dimensions: at least 400 px wide at 2× resolution (800 px wide) for crisp rendering in high-DPI PDF output. Daylytix automatically resizes the logo to fit the report header — you do not need to crop it to exact dimensions.
Click "Upload Logo"
The file picker opens. Select your PNG or SVG logo file from your computer. Alternatively, drag the file directly onto the upload zone.
Preview appears instantly
As soon as the file uploads, a preview thumbnail appears in the Brand settings panel showing exactly how the logo will look on the PDF cover page background. Check that the logo does not have unexpected white borders or is not being clipped.
Click "Save brand settings"
Your logo is stored securely on the server. It will be applied to all reports generated from this point forward. To replace it later, simply upload a new file — the old one is overwritten.
Setting your primary brand color
The brand color is used for accent elements throughout the PDF and PPTX reports: section header bars, score gauge fill, chart accent colors, and table header backgrounds. It should match your agency's primary brand color.
Enter your color as a six-digit hex code in the Brand Color field — for example #1a56db or #e63946. You can also click the color swatch to open an interactive color picker. The report preview panel on the right updates in real time as you adjust the color.
Report preview
The Report Preview section in the brand settings panel shows a live mockup of how your configured brand — logo, name, and color — will appear on the PDF cover page and the PPTX title slide. The preview updates whenever you change any brand setting.
To see a full-document preview, click Generate Sample PDF. This creates a one-page sample report using placeholder data, so you can verify the branding before sending a real client report. The sample PDF is not saved to your audit history.
Where branding is applied
| Report element | Agency name | Logo | Brand color |
|---|---|---|---|
| PDF cover page | Yes | Yes | Yes (background accent) |
| PDF page headers | Yes (small) | Yes (small) | Yes (rule line) |
| PDF page footers | Yes | No | No |
| PDF section headers | No | No | Yes (bar color) |
| PPTX cover slide | Yes | Yes | Yes (slide background) |
| PPTX content slides | No | Yes (footer) | Yes (chart accents) |
| Email report HTML | Yes | Yes (email header) | Yes (button/accent) |
How brand settings are saved
Brand settings are written to a secure configuration file (config.json) on the server tied to your account. They persist across sessions — you only need to set them once. If you update your agency name or logo, the change applies to all future reports automatically.
Brand settings are account-wide. If your team uses a shared Daylytix account, all members see and use the same brand configuration. Per-client brand overrides (different logo per client) are on the roadmap for a future release.
